I installed the plugin, but as soon as it activates get a 500 error. When I look at plugins it says its installed but every time I click on it I receive the same error. I have tested whether it’g bugging out with other plugins through elimination but even when I’m not running any I still get the same error! Has any one experience this too, or does the plugin just need to be updated to run with the current version of WordPress?
500 error
Getting a 500 error
We received a notification that our customers were getting a 500 error after filling out the contact form on the website. We use Gravity Forms for our contact forms. I disabled this plug-in, and the 500 error goes away..
Here’s what’s in the error log:
PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Exception: The message is not valid because it contains no message or html field. in **hidden**/wp-content/plugins/wp-mail-logging/src/WPML_MailExtractor.php:37
Any idea what’s causing this error? We recently updated to the latest version.
Thanks
Plugin update causes 500 error
Hi! I have updated your plugin to the latest version and it cause 500 error. When i rename plugin folder so this plugin becomes disabled site works, but when i activate plugin again it crash site with 500 error. What could be the reason? What you will suggest to do?
500 Error
Ruh Roh! I took over maintaining this site last month and went to update woocommerce but after I did my dashboard displayed a notifaction saying I had outdated templates, and also when I clicked the “Pages” link in the left side menu I’d get the HTML 500 error page, and if I go to view the site from the back end it just never loads.
I accessed the cPanel and updated the version of the core files the customized templates were working on and the notification went away but! I’m still not able to edit any pages or view the site from the back end.
I updated the php to 7.3 and increased the memory limits and what have you as well.
I’ve disabled (then re-enabled) the plugins via the wp_content folders and still experienced the 500 error and not loading the page when viewing from the back end.
I’ve disabled (then re-enabled) the theme (oxygen 5.2.4) so it reverted to the twenty-whatever theme, still no resolve. (I’m running the most up-to-date version of weordpress as well)
I checked the .htaccess files and the mod_rewrite files are enabled.
This is the error I’m seeing in my cPanel log:

Error 500 during export
Hi.
WP Cerber 8.2 produces 500 error during export using Safari, Firefox and Chrome (failed export). We’re still using WP 4.9.8 for support reasons.
Thanks.
Activating plugin causes 500 error
Per my server error logs:
PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function is_plugin_active() in /wp-content/plugins/rentpress/src/rentPress/SettingsTabs/IntegrationsConfig.php:26
per a google search “is_plugin_active()” is defined after plugins are loaded
500 Error
FYI, I had to uninstall this plugin. The free version caused site issue so I cannot consider this for paid access.
I wrote to my hosting oompany to find out why I kept getting a 500 error in the backend. Here is the response I got:
This issue does appear to be related to your plugin ultimate-social-media-icons. You will want to check for any updates with this plugin or reach out to the plugin developer to see if they have a fix in place. Here is the fatal error 11 PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Cannot unset string offsets in /nas/content/live/bahamafood/wp-content/plugins/ultimate-social-media-icons
Thanks.
Plugin will not run – Stuck on spinning clock
Hello,
I am trying to run the resmush.it plugin on the website https://www.boomcymru.co.uk and I am having problems getting it to start. When I click optimise the it starts up and says “1050 attachment(s) found, starting optimization…”. I then see the spinning clock and it stays like this. I have tried leaving it for a couple of hours as there are a lot of images but it doesn’t make any more progress.
I have checked in Chrome Console for the plugin page and I do see the following errors:

Conflict with both Query Monitor and Wordfence
Hi with both Query Monitor and Wordfence enabled, WP All Import fails at the final import step with a 500 error giving the following info:
Fatal error: Uncaught Exception: Undefined field type. in /var/www/vhosts/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/wp-content/plugins/wp-all-import-pro/models/model/record.php:148
relating to this function:
/**
* Magic method to resolved object-like request to record values in format $obj->%FIELD_NAME%
* @param string $field
* @return mixed
*/
public function __get($field) {
if ( ! $this->offsetExists($field)) {
throw new Exception(“Undefined field $field.”);
}
return $this[$field];
}
There are lots of people who use both plugins, any ideas remedies would be helpful.
Plug In Causing 500 error
After the last update this plugin is causing a 500 error on the website listed above. I’ve tested, and with the 2019 theme and no other plugin’s activated we get a 500 error, deactivate the plug in and the issue disappears.
I’ve pinpointed the specific setting further – if I disable images for listings the error disappears (2019 theme and no other active plugins). I’m not sure what the solution is, as the listings require images. Please advise. Thank you.
Getting an Internal Server Error (500) when switching between languages
Please look at website here: https://careers.runnersacrossjordan.com/ when switching to Arabic https://careers.runnersacrossjordan.com/ar/ and going through the different pages within the website, a 500 internal server error appears, I tried to tackle the problem but without any success so far.
Thanks!

I am really disappointed!
I am so disappointed by this plugin, it used to work perfectly but I guess with the latest updates a glitch appeared out of nowhere. The website is getting an Internal Server Error (500) when switching between languages, I thought it was a problem with the languages plugin (wpGlobus) but after thorough investigation the only cause of this problem is this Simple Job Board plugin.
The author is not responding to any of my messages and it has been more than a week since I last communicated with them, this is quite rude not to answer your customers’ questions and concerns especially when I bought add-ons from your site to complete this plugin.
This problem needs to be addressed and solved if this company wants to keep going.
Internal Server Error, Misconfiguration,
I am getting 500 error on my site. I tried deleting folder but no change. Help me fast!!!

500 errors on wp-admin, login page
I’m using plugin Version 1.8.20 on wp version 5.2.1
Upon login I receive 500 internal error. I can then remove wp-admin from the url and navigate to the homepage. There I can get into my dashboard. I try to upgrade latest version of wp and receive error. And it will not upgrade, I get error page. I try to deactivate plugins and I get error. I manually disable plugin from ftp and all is working correctly. When I tried to restore my blog to a later point before manually disabling sucuri plugin it will work but I get an error in ManageWp dashboard. It is the following.
The process finished, but we got an error when we attempted to create the .htaccess file: E_ERROR: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 75 bytes) in /home/WEBSITE/public_html/WEBSITE.com/wp-content/plugins/sucuri-scanner/src/fileinfo.lib.php on line 431.
You can complete the process manually by going to the destination’s WordPress admin dashboard, then to “Settings > General” and clicking “Save Changes”.
Please advise why sucuri is breaking my blog. Thank you.
activating plugin causes 500 error and memory
Hi,
As soon as I activate this plugin on my site, it causes a 500 error on the Category pages and memory exhaustion. Once I deactivate it, no issues.
I tried default WordPress theme as well, same issue when activated.
500 errors that redirect to requested page (appear to be for logged-in users)
Since migrating my site to live and enabling the latest version of WP Rocket, I have been getting 500 server errors that immediately redirect to the actual page I was trying to see. This appear to only be happening for logged-in users, but I am not sure.
It seems like this might relate to PHP memory limits – I have some issue on my WordPress configuration that is causing it to take an extremely large amount of memory, but that is something I have to deal with separately.
I can’t seem to get these PHP errors to show up in the regular PHP error log (which I have enabled), the WordPress debug.log under wp-content (also enabled), the email notifications of fatal errors that are new to WordPress 5.2, or the Apache error log. I am currently using mod_php to serve PHP pages under Apache.
I am posting on here to see if there’s another way I could get logging details on these errors to appear. That way, I could check if it is a memory issue, or something else.
In case it helps, here is a lightly redacted version of the site information from Site Health debug screen: https://pastebin.com/gLQ3sdwL (paste will expire after 2 weeks).
Thanks!

But nothing has really changed on our site in a while, so not sure what would cause that. But it’s causing a 500 Internal Server Error when editing posts or pages…
The error goes away if/when we deactivate TablePress.
