500 Error on Signup Form

Hi there,

I would greatly appreciate your help in resolving something that went wrong this past weekend. We changed our theme from Divi to Stack. Somewhere along the line our Participant’s Database Signup Form has broken.

I have the shortcode placed on the page here https://bhrscholarsassociation.org/become-a-member-2/, a duplicate page I made for testing. Right now the form is displaying correctly, but when I fill out the fields and click “submit” I get a 500 Internal Server Error. It is not sending the email with the information, either.

I’ve tried a few things on my own, including making a backup of the site and going through deleting/deactivating other plugins, tried deleting and reinstalling the plugin, too. The re-install didn’t help, the form reverted to the default form which also returned a 500 error. I reverted the site to the backup since nothing worked. I’m obviously not a developer, or particularly savvy at this sort of thing, and have no idea what else to try.

Thanks so much for your help!

500 & Buffering Errors while viewing WC pages.

I enabled the W3 Cache plugin to help with speed issues on a client’s site, however, it caused the website to have these two errors: 1. 500 Error. Internal Server Error. 2. Cannot use output buffering in output buffering display handlers in Unknown on line 0. (They seemed to alternate).

I receive these error messages only when I’m trying to viewing WooCommerce store pages. Once I turn OFF the W3 plugin the error messages go away. The site has been updated to the latest Version 0.9.7.2. Can you provide guidance on how to fix? Thank you.

HTTP 500 Error

Greetings. Since Thursday, January 31st, I have been unable to modify, edit or add posts to the Phoenix Writers Club site. The system is returning a constant, Internal Server 500 error, no matter what selection I make from the wp-admin page. I have attempted to use several different browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Brave, Internet Explorer and Edge, none work. I have cleared cache on ALL of them several times and that has also not helped. Since this is reporting as a SERVER error, can someone please notify support, since they don’t post their e-mail, and let them know they have a problem.

Thank you.

500 error at wp-admin / allowed memory exhausted / cannot use output buffering

This all started with a PHP upgrade from 7.0.9 to 7.2.9
1) It works fine on DEV with 7.29 with the same plugins.
2) Upgrading to 7.29 on LIVE allowed the site to function normally on the front-end, but got 500 internal server error when hitting wp-admin on the back end. Using incognito mode allowed wp-admin render, but then trying to login gave 500 internal server error
3) PHP error log showed these errors
[06-Feb-2019 22:11:35 UTC] PHP Fatal error:  Allowed memory size of 2097152 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 1069056 bytes) in I:\xxxxxx\wp-content\plugins\w3-total-cache\Cache_Wincache.php on line 42
[06-Feb-2019 22:11:35 UTC] PHP Fatal error:  Allowed memory size of 2097152 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 65536 bytes) in I:\xxxxxxx\wp-content\plugins\w3-total-cache\Util_Content.php on line 4
[06-Feb-2019 22:11:35 UTC] PHP Fatal error:  Unknown: Cannot use output buffering in output buffering display handlers in Unknown on line 0
4) Confirmed that the max memory size was 512m on both DEV and LIVE servers. I tried increasing LIVE to 1024m and still got the same exact error.

Note: The W3TC plugin was updated to Version 0.9.7.2, prior to an update to WordPress 5.0.3 (from 4.9.9) and PHP 7.0.9 to 7.2.9 along with all other plugin updates, and tested to work perfectly on the DEV server. Everything was also updated and tested on the LIVE server, except the PHP 7.2.9 upgrade. It was working fine then too. The only thing that changed in the final step, was 7.0.9 to 7.2.9. The the wp-admin 500 error. I’m completely stumped on this. The web.config files are the same, but other than that, I’m at the mercy of our hosting to know whether everything else is the same.

Ideas on what to try? Thx!

500 error; deactivated Jetpack, and now a Jetpack authorization error

I needed to refresh my LinkedIn connection for Publicize so I tried to do this and got a 500 error: “500 status code for “POST /sites/51513175/publicize-connections/new”. I looked up this forum and read a thread that said to deactivate Jetpack and other plugins, then reactivate. I deactivated Jetpack and wondered what would happen if I just reactivated it without deactivating other plugins. So I reactivated Jetpack but I can’t finish setting it up because I’m getting an authorization error: “Error authorizing. Page is refreshing for another attempt”. The authorization is not able to occur.

PS My host is A2. The only thing I can think of that might be relevant is that they had to migrate my server recently.

Hi there, I am having issues with uploading my CSV. I have gone through the troubleshooting to try and determine what is wrong but I’m at a loss. The error I am getting is below, and if you could take a look and see if you can shed some light that would be great! I can send you a link to the CSV if that is helpful too.

500 Error

$

Hi there,
for the past 12hours, I have been having this error.
Mailchimp says: API Request Error – on 1544 on \includes\api\class-mailchimp-api.php

This line refers to 500 HTTP error.
I already created new API keys. and changed them in the plugin. No success.

From my readings seems to be an issue with MailChimp Server. No new plugins, no changes were done to the website.

The account on MailChimp is not suspended or under review, so I’m almost sure that the error 503 i get from another plugin (Mailchimp for WordPress) isn’t applicable for this case (I hope it’s not 503 “Service Unavailable” – your website is blacklisted by the Akamai firewall ).

Please advice on the best way to proceed.

Thank You
Kind Regards

Day View 500 Error

Need help with an issue where the code below was breaking the day view. My calendar has alot of events per day and it seemed that the code below was having issues with this. (Maybe due to $new_title coming back as an array).

—————————————————————————
In search console I had the following error:

“Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 (Internal Server Error)”

—————————————————————————

In my error log I had the following errors/warnings:

[Mon Mar 18 12:51:16 2019] [warn] [client xx.xxx.xxx.xx] mod_fcgid: stderr: PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function tribe_is_week() in wp-content/themes/white-fox-studios-profile/functions.php:73, referer: /events/

—————————————————————————

Here is the code I commented out and it started working again…

/**
final public function title_tag( $title, $sep = null ) {
// WP >= 4.4 has deprecated wp_title. This conditional (and the lower one) adds support for
// the new and improved wp_get_document_title method and subsequent document_title_parts filter
if ( ‘document_title_parts’ === current_filter() ) {
$sep = apply_filters( ‘document_title_separator’, ‘-‘ );
$the_title = $title[‘title’];
} else {
$the_title = $title;
}

$new_title = $this->get_title( $the_title, $sep );
$the_title = apply_filters( ‘tribe_events_title_tag’, $new_title, $the_title, $sep );

if ( ‘document_title_parts’ === current_filter() ) {
$title[‘title’] = $the_title;
return $title;
}

return $the_title;
}
*/
—————————————————————————

I tried deactivating all plugins and the issue still existed.

500 Error: Cannot access website or dashboard

Hello!

I’m not very experienced with wordpress; our website http://www.quidditchvictoria.com/ was set up by a web developer a number of years ago and the back end was not kept very well up to date. Today I tried to update the theme after being prompted to for a while, it said the theme was downloading and then the web pages from the site on the front and back end died and showed a 500 Error: “This page isn’t working www.quidditchvictoria.com is currently unable to handle this request. HTTP ERROR 500”.

I have tried to use Filezilla to view the website files/back end however it will not connect.
I have contacted the developer who set up our site. Otherwise I have no idea how to fix this issue as I cannot access any part of the site.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
